Ömer Engin BULUT

Ömer Engin Bulut was born in 1965. He completed his primary and secondary education in TED Ankara College. He was graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry with a DDS degree in 1988. From 1988 to 1996 he was research assistant professor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hacettepe University. He defended his thesis which was entitled "Evaluation of acute phase reactions in third molar surgery” for a PhD-degree in 1995.  He had the promotion of associate professor in 2005. He has published more than 40 articles in scientific journals and performed over 30 oral presentations at academic meetings on maxillofacial infections, pain control, bone biology and inflammation. Since February 1996 Dr. Bulut maintains a private practice limited to oral surgery and implant dentistry. He has been also chief editor of  “ADO Journal of Clinical Sciences” and part-time lecturer in the program of maxillofacial infections and pain control at department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Baskent University Faculty of Dentistry between 2000-2015. He has worked Cappadocia University Health Vocational School as a founding full-time lecturer and senior adviser in academic schedule 2016-17. Meanwhile he has been part-time lecturer in the Dental Asistance program of Ankara University Health Vocational School. After he had been professor in Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University He was appointed Vice-Chancellor in 2017. Since July 2018 he has been Dean in Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University, School of Dental Sciences.
