Dental treatment options and methods have been changed by the generalized use of dental implants.

Although implants are used more than 40 years now, their wide use took place within the last 10 years.

This generalized use did also bring increased number of complications.

Therefore a clinician who wants to offer successful treatments to his patients should know the potential pitfalls and minimize the possible complications in these treatment steps.

This topic will cover the potential complications and how to avoid or manage with them during treatment on implant supported fixed restorations.
