Clinical Details for Success in Immediate Implant Placement and Immediate Loading: Surgical Perspective
Aesthetics and patient satisfaction is our main goal in dental implantology. However, while reaching this goal, an important factor that increases patient satisfaction is to reach the result in a short time with comfort. In implantology, two most important factors that reduce the time are immediate implantation and immediate loading protocols. The most important point in this protocol for the success is patient selection.
In this presentation, beside the patient selection factors, surgical points in immediate implant placement will be mentioned. Also, the principles that should be applied at the surgical stage for the immediate loading protocol will be emphasized. Furthermore, clinical points such as the number of implants, implant length and diameter, implant design, quantity and quality of hard and soft tissue, primary stabilization, and the need for augmentation will be addressed. Clinical points for treatment success will be described with case and video presentations.
