Organ transplantation is applied in many health centers around the world and in our country and it is a treatment method that allows patients to maintain their lives close to normal. However, rejection of transplanted organ or tissue and severe infections are the two most important factors that unfavorable affect the success of transplantations. Immunosuppressive drugs used to prevent rejection also cause infections. It is known that infections in the oral cavity cause focal infection. Therefore, the treatment protocol of organ transplant patients is very important. The treatment plan is arranged more radically so that the patient does not experience any complications before and after transplantation procedure. In this conference, pre- and post-transplatational dental treatment protocol, possible complications and solutions will be discussed.
