The Art of Dental Extraction
Extraction is probably the most frequent oral surgical procedure worldwide and can be one of the simplest procedures as well as one of the most challenging technically. Extraction of teeth incorporates basic principles from physics, mechanics, and surgery. The clinician should fully understand and master the tecniques of extraction.  Tooth extraction including bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity, which is further complicated by the tongue and jaw movements limited to tissues and cheeks, is mainly a surgical intervention, especially the opening of the oral cavity through the pharynx to the larynx and esophagus, the continuous contact of the operation site with the saliva and the presence of microorganisms in the human body. and finally the fact that this site is close to the vital centers shows how important this process is. The physician should try to conclude every tooth extraction to the hard and soft tissues with as little trauma as possible, remembering that each tooth extraction is special in itself, and should be able to change the ideal and the right techniques that he / she has learned during the extraction or after the complications.
